If you ask Ricky...

I was searching the web and found him months after my grandpa passed away. We talked about everything and anything, plants, future plans, and love for ancient times. We watched our favorite shows together. Went on dates which was weird for me because he wanted to be seen with me outside, in the sunlight, together. Met his friends no problem instantly fell in love with their vibe. His parents are amazing, his mom very courteous and respectful and his dad looks serious but secretly he is funny.

If you ask Ricky about Jonny:

I have never had to hide anything of myself from him, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I love the way he nerds it up when I ask him a question and helps me understand things from cooking to Bloodborne is not just a video game. I trust him with my life, my future and my everything the same way I know he trusts me. I am eternally blessed to have him in my life and for him to let me be in his, for this part and the rest. Will always thank our lady the virgin mother for such an amazing partner, friend, and husband.

If you ask Jonny...

So, uh, we originally met on a dating app. And I hate dating apps, so I made the goal to meet in person for a real date ASAP. So I consider our real first date to be at the University of Houston library-- that's where we met and had our picnic date. We browsed comics together for a bit and I was glad we connected on similar interests.

But I honestly fell in love the moment he kneeled down to feed the squirrels with the last of his leftover breadsticks. He's a man with a open heart and a kindness for animals.

We finished our picnic date watching a movie on my laptop at the secret Honors College underground lounge (sorry to anyone I didn't share this secret lounge with before). He had brought the Regular Show: The Movie. It's goofy, it's silly, and we still watch it. He's a bit of a Rigby. :)

If you ask Jonny about Ricky:

He's very handsome. I love hearing him speak Spanish. And he's incredibly caring-- he always checks on every single plant in the garden to see how they're doing. And he really does ask them "How are you doing? ¿Cómo estás?" I honestly can't believe I met someone so perfect-- we like so many of the same things. I can always trust him to order the best food for me even if I didn't know it.
